Job summary
THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is hiring a Chemical Engineering Technician (Solvent Recovery) to operate the distillation plant at Tuas. You will ensure safe, efficient processing of spent waste into product, and coordinate with lab and resale teams.
Shift work incl. day/night rotation is required, with overtime eligibility. Minimum NITEC/ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field, plus basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet research). Company transport/allowance provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Proficient in MS Office, email, and internet research.
- Able to perform overtime/shift work.
Responsibilities
- Operate distillation process to convert spent waste into product.
- Maintain safe operation of the distillation plant.
- Ensure safe handling of flammable materials during transfer.
- Collaborate with Laboratory for waste/product sampling.
- Follow SOPs and coordinate with resale team on items.
- Monitor storage capacity and safe product storage.
- Record process data and report deviations.
- Assist engineering to resolve equipment issues and prevent faults.
- Participate in 5S and safety activities.
