Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide polite, helpful service.
• Scan or enter items accurately and process cash, card, QR, and e-wallet payments.
• Give the correct change and issue receipts.
• Follow store procedures for promotions, discounts, refunds, and voided transactions.
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
• Replenish shelves, check price labels and expiry dates, and maintain tidy displays.
• Assist with stock counts and report low stock, damaged items, or discrepancies.
• Follow procedures for opening, closing, and handing over the cash register.
• Report customer concerns, safety issues, or suspected theft to the supervisor.
• Speaking Malay will be added advantage
