Job summary

CGS International Securities Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Senior Associate for CFD Operations on a 1-year contract. The role covers end-to-end BAU operations, reconciliations, and collateral support within CFD books, with involvement in system enhancements and regulatory initiatives.

The position requires strong financial markets knowledge, excellent analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel; SQL/VBA/Power BI are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Experience in Financial Markets Operations, preferably equities or derivatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL, VBA, Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end processes including trade capture, validations, settlements, and lifecycle events.
• Perform daily reconciliations (cash and positions) and investigate breaks with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Monitor intraday and end-of-day trade flows for completeness and timely processing across systems.
• Handle corporate actions processing to reflect accurately in CFD books and records.
• Support collateral operations, including exceptions handling and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure operational controls are followed and escalate risks or gaps promptly.
• Contribute to maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency in CFD Operations.
