Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a senior leader to guide the Special Student Care Centre (SSCC) team, coordinate services for children with special needs, and implement policies to ensure high-quality client care.
The role involves supervising operations, managing budgets, developing staff, and collaborating with management, parents, and partners to uphold standards and drive continuous improvement.
To lead the team to achieve the goals for overall wellbeing and development of clients and caregivers at SSCC by implementing policies and services for clients in Special Student Care Centre.
To provide care and support to students with special needs so as to provide respite with peace of mind to caregivers or family members caring for children with special needs so that they can be more financial viable, continue to pursue their career or spend time with their children.
Maintaining centre's administration, finances and day to day operations.
Planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating the intervention services to meet needs of the SSCC clientele.
Work closely with team in providing initial assessment, coordinate & facilitate bi-annual Individual Care Plan discussion (ICP), facilitate enrolment and discharge procedure for the clients.
Conduct and organize orientation, educational talks, in-service training and workshops for parents, teachers, volunteers, team members and AWWA staff.
Leadership & Planning
Lead the team to support and achieve the service goals.
Clarify and promote organisation's mission and core values.
Implement policies and ensure compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements.
Lead, guide, coach and inspire staff team for peak performance.
Supervise and monitor progress and achievement of work outcomes of staff.
Service Delivery
Establish policies and processes to ensure compliance to quality principles and standards (CARF).
Develop protocols and tools and implement initiatives for monitoring, analysis and improvement of quality indicators and metrics.
Plan and support quality assurance and audits on services.
Work together with senior programme assistants and programme assistants to plan and develop programmes to promote client-centered quality care initiatives within SSCC and AWWA Services.
Engage and ensure team members are guided to deliver the desired quality care results.
Staff Development
Plan and coordinate relevant teaching and supervision to students, interns, trainees, and newly recruited staff in SSCC.
Work closely with Professionals/ Management/ HR to identify training needs, allocate assignments and preceptors to students, interns, trainees and newly recruited staff.
Educate and ensure trainees and newly recruited staff adhere to SSCC procedures/ guidelines and deliver safe and high quality client care.
Assist the Human Resource Department in formulating training objectives and lesson contents, maintaining records, tracking of training effectiveness and evaluation of courses.
Financial Reins
Responsible for SSCC financial aspects in relation to monitoring and keeping track of all the income and expenses that are intended for the overall operation of the programme.
Analyze and plan SSCC budgets and communicate the financial updates with the management and other stakeholders.
Manage and plan budget and staffing needs in relation to service and acuity needs and demand capacity.
Quality and Standards
Conduct periodic reviews and update existing SOPs. Ensure compliance of SOP by all staff in the services through constant reviews, updates and communications.
Play significant role in long-term planning, including and initiative geared toward service excellence. Continually improve service levels and achieve clients' satisfaction targets.
Follow up with public and clients' concerns and feedback.
Other Responsibilities:
To perform any other duties as directed by the Director/ CEO.

Minimum Education/ Qualifications
at least 4-5 years of working experience in supervisory role
Knowledge/Skills
Experience working with children with special needs
Good communication and management skills
