Job description

The Centre Head is responsible to lead and manage the overall operations of one or more Early Intervention Centre. The Centre Head will ensure smooth daily functioning, drive enrolment targets, manage Organisational and Funder's KPIs, and enhance overall experience for staff, clients and stakeholders. S/he will be a strategic thinker with strong Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple operational areas.

This role reports to Senior Manager, Business Excellence.

Operational Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the center and ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with operational processes and standards.
  • Maintain an optimal and clean facility environment, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
Children's Enrolments & Performance Monitoring
  • Drive and monitor children's numbers to meet/exceed Funder's KPIs.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve center performance.
Manpower Planning & Scheduling
  • Prepare and execute manpower plans based on business needs.
  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage absenteeism and ensure timely replacements as needed.
Staff Onboarding & Management
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Support training and development activities in collaboration with HR or L&D teams.
  • Maintain high employee morale, discipline, and performance.
Events & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Plan and execute center and service-level events, workshops, and engagement activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including parents, vendors, and community partners.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports to the Senior Manager – Business Excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and internal reviews.
Budgeting & Procurement
  • Prepare and manage the center's operational budget.
  • Review and approve purchase requests and expenses within approved limits.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and proper utilization of resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Trained in Specialist Diploma in Early Intervention (Special Needs) and familiar with Early Intervention settings is an advantage.
Other Information
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in center operations, administration, or a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in team management, KPI tracking, and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant operations software/tools.
  • Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and make informed decisions.
