Job summary

EAT WIDE AWAKE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Central Kitchen Helper to support daily food prep and cooking in our Pandan Loop facility. You will help prepare ingredients, stock stations, and keep the kitchen clean and inspection-ready.

The role requires independent initiative, good communication, and the ability to work under time pressure while maintaining food safety standards and teamwork with the kitchen crew.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience.
• Independent, takes initiatives, yet have team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food ingredients for cooking or serving.
• Stock-up food supplies in serving stations.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor, keep floor dry and clean always. Collect and remove trash following established procedures.
• Carry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned as appropriate.
