The role supports clinical procedures addressing immediate physical and emotional patient needs in a hospital setting. Applicants should hold a Nursing Degree/Diploma or State Registered Nurse Certificate, with Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent preferred for senior roles and eligibility for the Nursing Career

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate is required.
• Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for Senior Staff Nurse.
• Career Conversion Programme for Registered Nurses (Degree) may apply.
• Graduates from local polytechnic diploma or A-level Science and Math will be considered under the conversion pathway.

• Access, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in the appropriate discipline under the direction of the Nurse Clinician in the individual units.
• Provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that meet the patients’ immediate physical and emotional needs.

Job description

The incumbent shall be responsible to:

• Access, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in the appropriate discipline under the direction of the Nurse Clinician in the individual units.
• Provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that will meet the patients’ immediate physical and emotional needs

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate
• Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse Position.

This vacancy is under the Career ConversionProgramme for Registered Nurses (Degree).

To qualify for the Career Conversion Programme for Registered Nurses, you must have graduated or completed National Service for at least 2 years with:

• A degree from a recognised university; or
• A local polytecnic diploma; or
• -3 GCE "A" level credits* with 2 GCE "O" level credits** in a Science subject and Mathematics

*GCE"A" Level credits refer to grades A to E

** GCE "O" level credits refer to grades A1 to C6
