Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to interpret and understand 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply ASM's category strategies for sheet metal and machined components.
• Analyze technical drawings and product data to categorize parts into sourcing segments.
• Support localization opportunities across Southeast Asia.
• Conduct data analysis to define project phases, priorities, and success criteria.
• Prepare and issue RFQ packages to potential suppliers.
• Collect, compare, and summarize supplier quotations for sourcing decisions.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and commercial evaluations.
• Support initiation of supply chain activities through internal processes and documentation.
• Track project progress and maintain sourcing data and records in SAP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support localization and supplier transition projects.
