Job summary

foodpanda Singapore is seeking a Manager, Category Management (pandamart) to lead sourcing and merchandising for grocery categories. You will own full P&L for assigned categories, develop category strategies, secure competitive pricing, and drive supplier negotiations to fuel growth.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Operations to forecast demand, manage ranges, and deliver a world-class pandamart experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, account and category management.
• Demonstrated track record of successful negotiations, influence and overall relationship management (internal and external).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and merchandising of a category within foodpanda’s New Verticals team.
• Own full P&L for assigned categories, including revenue, margin and other supplier income.
• Develop and execute aligned category strategies to meet KPIs.
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost, funding and terms; secure supplier marketing and advertising spend.
• Develop new sourcing and expanded range to ensure high quality, value goods year-round.
• Use data-driven decision making to forecast demand and ensure supply in collaboration with marketing and supply chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Imports, Pricing, Strategy, Finance and Marketing on strategic projects.
