Job summary

FH UNITED PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Site Carpenter Supervisor to oversee daily carpentry works at construction sites in Singapore. You will plan manpower, assign tasks, and coordinate with Site Supervisor, Project Manager, and other trades to keep progress on schedule.

The role requires reading drawings and ensuring quality according to plans, with on-the-job training provided as needed and strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction carpentry works.
• Good knowledge of formwork, timber works and general carpentry works.
• Able to supervise workers and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Supervise carpentry works at construction sites and coordinate with project team.

• Responsible for supervising and coordinating daily carpentry works at construction sites
• Plan and arrange manpower according to the site work schedule
• Assign daily tasks to carpenters and monitor work progress
• Ensure carpentry works are carried out according to drawings, specifications and site requirements
• Able to read and understand construction and carpentry drawings
• Coordinate with Site Supervisor, Project Manager and other trades on site activities
• Monitor workmanship and ensure works meet required quality standards
• Arrange and monitor the usage of carpentry materials, tools and equipment
• Ensure workers follow proper work procedures and safety requirements
• Conduct on-the-job guidance and training for carpentry workers when required
• Maintain daily work records and report site progress to management
• Ensure work areas are properly maintained and kept in safe working condition
