Job summary

NPL CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled carpenter to read and interpret construction drawings, cut, shape, assemble timber, and install wooden components on site.

You will work with hand and power tools, ensure safety, keep site tidy, and report defects to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Take measurements, cut, shape, assemble and install timber, plywood and related building materials.
• Construct, erect and dismantle timber formwork for concrete works.
• Install partitions, door frames, window frames, flooring and other wooden building components.
• Carry out repair and maintenance works for wooden structures and fittings.
• Operate hand tools and power carpentry tools in safe manner.
• Follow workplace safety & health regulations, wear required PPE.
• Keep work site tidy, report material defects and safety issues to supervisor.
• Perform other carpentry‑related duties assigned by site supervisor。
