LUMINOUS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our field team and contribute to building projects across commercial sites.

The role requires interpreting blueprints and drawings, measuring materials, and installing frames, stairs, flooring, and fixtures while maintaining safety standards and working flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to accurately read technical drawings and construction documents.
• Strong practical knowledge of carpentry materials and techniques.
• Willingness to work irregular hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Measure, calculate, cut, shape, and smooth materials such as lumber and fiberglass.
• Construct and install Window frames and doors.
• Construct and install Staircases.
• Construct and install Building frames.
• Construct and install Flooring, roofing, and drywall.
• Construct and install Cabinets, shelves, furniture, and other fixtures.
• Inspect work sites and carry out repairs or maintenance.
• Build scaffolding and other temporary structures safely.
• Operate power and hand tools such as saws, hammers, and measuring tools.
• Ensure completed work meets design specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain the physical stamina required for demanding construction work.
• Work flexible or irregular hours, including nights, Sundays, and public holidays.
