Job summary

MONT FORT TECHNOLOGIES (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our site team in Singapore. You will construct, install, and dismantle formwork, timber structures, and temporary works for concrete construction, reading drawings and following specifications.

The role requires reading construction drawings, working on site, staying physically fit, and abiding by safety regulations. Overtime, weekend and shift work may be required depending on project schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction carpentry works.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements.
• Physically fit and able to work on a construction site.
• Familiar with the use of carpentry tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and dismantle formwork, timber structures, and temporary works for concrete construction.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to drawings and specifications.
• Interpret construction drawings and follow site instructions.
• Repair and maintain formwork and carpentry-related structures.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with workplace safety regulations and project requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, Sundays, and Public Holidays when required by project schedules and operational needs.
• Shift work and night work may be required depending on site requirements.
