Job summary

BRIGHTCON PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden structures on site, and reading detailed drawings and specifications.

You will ensure quality workmanship, operate hand and power tools safely, and collaborate with supervisors and engineers to meet project schedules. Physical fitness and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of carpentry experience.
• Able to read construction drawings.
• Knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, drilling, assembling, and finishing woodwork.
• Able to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
• Must follow workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Relevant carpentry certification or technical training will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry works, including cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fittings.

• Install doors, door frames, cabinets, wardrobes, partitions, flooring, ceilings, and other wooden fixtures.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble wood and other carpentry materials according to project requirements.

• Carry out repair, maintenance, and renovation works.
• Ensure all carpentry works meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete assigned work within project schedules and deadlines.
