Job summary

DNATA Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee engineering activities for cargo facilities, installations, replacements, and upgrades while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a maintenance team, plan budgets, supervise contractors, and drive improvements in equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and overall cost effectiveness. A Diploma in Engineering and relevant airport operations experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 3-4 years in building/facility maintenance.
• Cargo handling facilities or airport operations experience.
• Mechanical and electrical systems knowledge (HVAC, lighting, power).
• Troubleshoot issues and analyze data to improve building performance.
• Strong stakeholder communication.
• Plan, execute and manage building maintenance projects.
• Experience supervising contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering activities: new installations, replacements, upgrades, maintenance and repair of cargo facilities and equipment.
• Lead maintenance team to provide engineering support and service for cargo equipment and buildings.
• Study equipment modifications to maximize cost effectiveness and performance.
• Conduct failure analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Plan maintenance budgets and monitor team performance.
• Monitor stock levels for spare parts to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with contractors and projects, including tender processes.
• Identify new technologies and develop equipment specifications and scopes of work.
