Job summary

Optimum Solutions (Singapore) Pte Ltd. seeks an experienced System Engineer with deep Cards & Payments technology to support mission-critical enterprise environments in Singapore.

You will provide end-to-end environment support and release management across SIT, UAT, and Production, handle Linux administration, patch management, and SSL renewals, and manage incidents with RCA and rapid troubleshooting of databases and middleware.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of core IT experience in application support or system administration within the banking/financial sector.
• Prior exposure to card processing platforms (VisionPLUS, Cardlink) preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in RHEL, SQL troubleshooting, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end environment support and release management across SIT, UAT, and Production assurance stages.
• Linux/Unix administration, patch management, and SSL certificate renewals.
• Incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and rapid troubleshooting of database (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and middleware issues.
• Monitoring infrastructure via Geneos and Splunk; writing automation in Python, Java, and Shell.
