Job summary

FOO KON TAN SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive trainee to support client advisory report preparation and help develop client training programs within Singapore's financial services regulatory landscape.

You will work closely with senior advisers and gain exposure to Banking Act, Financial Advisers Act, and Securities and Futures Act compliance matters. The role requires a degree in relevant fields, CMFAS examinations, strong English communication, and a flexible commitment (3/6/9 months);

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or degree in Legal, Banking & Finance, Accountancy, Business Management or related discipline.
• ICA Diploma in Compliance / AML or ACAMS certification adds advantage.
• Experience in internship with Singapore financial regulations (Banking Act, Financial Advisers Act, SAF).
• CMFAS Examinations passes (M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A).
• Excellent interpersonal, English communication and writing skills.
• Singaporean or SPR with flexible commitment (3/6/9 months).
• Job rotation between departments is possible.

Academic/Technical Requirements:

• Undergraduate or Degree in Legal, Banking & Finance, Accountancy, Business Management or related discipline from a top university
• ICA Diploma in Compliance / AML or ACAMS certification or similar would be an added advantage
• Experience in internship work on Singapore financial regulations such as Banking Act/Financial Advisers Act/Securities and Futures Act
• Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) Examinations passes (Modules M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, M9A)
• Excellent interpersonal, English communication and writing skills is critical.
• Preferably a Singaporean or SPR, commitment period is flexible and can be discussed (3/6/9months)
• Job rotation between department is also possible
