Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of engineering and plant projects within a manufacturing environment. You will manage projects from planning through completion and support CAPEX initiatives.

The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering and 3–5 years of experience, with CAPEX exposure. It offers a 1-year contract, a monthly salary of S$7,000–S$8,000, fixed transport allowance, 18 days annual leave, and a Monday–Friday 8:30

Qualifications

Must have a degree or diploma in engineering or related technical field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering or plant projects.
Experience with CAPEX / capital projects or equipment investment is advantageous.
Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with vendors, contractors and cross-functional teams.
Candidates from Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or other manufacturing industries are welcome.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate engineering and plant projects from planning through completion.
Support CAPEX / capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors and contractors.
Review project requirements, specs and drawings.
Monitor schedule, resources, costs and overall progress.
Support equipment installation, plant upgrades and capacity enhancement.
Conduct site coordination and ensure quality and safety requirements are met.
Identify issues and coordinate solutions to keep projects on track.
