Job summary

Canopy Education is recruiting for a Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager to oversee operations at our Tiong Bahru and Bishan centres in Singapore. You will lead a team of teachers, mentor staff, and communicate with parents about children’s progress and well-being.

The role involves planning daily programmes, holiday camps, and events, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment, and contributing to enrollment growth as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in student care or education management is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the student care centre.
• Lead and mentor a team of teachers.
• Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication on children’s progress and well-being.
• Manage staff scheduling, coordination and evaluation.
• Guide primary school children during homework supervision and enrichment programmes when needed.
• Plan and coordinate daily programmes, holiday camps, and special events.
• Ensure safety, discipline, and a positive learning environment for all students.
• Contribute to business development and enrollment growth initiatives as directed by the Centre Owner / Director.
• Plan and schedule updates to our website (monthly) and social media (weekly).
• For subject teachers: conduct English, Chinese, and/or Mathematics enrichment lessons according to our curriculum requirements.

Salary: $2,800 – $3,800 per month (commensurate with experience)
