Ro Paws Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced pet groomer to join our team. You will provide professional grooming services, bathe, trim, and maintain dog coats while prioritising safety.

The role requires calm, patient handling of dogs of various breeds, good communication with owners, and a commitment to animal welfare and hygiene.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, blow-drying, brushing, dematting, nail trimming, ear cleaning and breed-appropriate haircuts.
• Handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments with patience, care and confidence.
• Assess coat condition, skin health and grooming needs before starting; ensure safety and humane handling throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services, including bathing, blow-drying, brushing, de-matting, nail trimming, ear cleaning and breed-appropriate haircuts

• Handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments with patience, care and confidence

• Assess each dog's coat condition, skin health, behaviour and grooming needs before starting

• Prioritise the safety and well-being of every dog throughout the grooming process, using gentle and humane handling techniques

• Maintain a clean, hygienic and well-organised grooming area, including proper sanitisation of tools and equipment

• Monitor dogs closely during grooming and drying, and never leave dogs unattended on grooming tables or in bathing areas

• Communicate professionally with pet owners about grooming preferences, coat maintenance, potential health concerns and aftercare recommendations

• Maintain accurate grooming records and promptly report any injuries, unusual behaviour or health concerns

• Work closely with the Ro Paws team to create a positive and welcoming experience for every dog and their owner

About you

• Previous experience in professional pet grooming, with the ability to groom dogs independently

• A genuine love for animals and a calm, patient and gentle approach to handling dogs

• Good knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, grooming techniques and equipment

• Strong awareness of animal behaviour, stress signals and safe handling practices

• A responsible and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering quality grooming services

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional attitude

• Grooming certificates or recognised professional qualifications will be an advantage

• A team player who shares our commitment to responsible pet ownership and animal welfare
