Calypso Back-Office Business Analyst (FX & MM)

Job summary

Luxoft seeks an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business needs with Calypso-based FX back office solutions. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across Front/Back Office domains to define and translate requirements into actionable software specs.

The role emphasizes regulatory reporting, data flow, and post-trade processes, with a focus on delivering value in a demanding capital markets environment.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience with static data, workflows, confirmations, settlements, messages/SWIFT, positions, and accounting.
• Understanding of FX, money market, cash products and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for FX and Money Market in Calypso.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize requirements and decompose into user stories.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications with data flows and system behavior.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment with specifications.
• Provide functional expertise and communicate business processes clearly to the team.
• Research existing solutions and assess feasibility against requirements.
• Understand technical constraints and participate in design discussions.
• Ensure functional quality, participate in testing and production support.
• Analyze impact of changes on SLAs and OLAs.
• Contribute to BDD by providing user scenarios and tests.
• Assist deployment with pre-requisites and post-deployment checks.
• Mentor and train new joiners and resolve functional issues.
• Ensure smooth integration into IT infrastructure with the Functional Architect.
