Job summary

Five Oars Coffee Roasters is seeking enthusiastic, service-minded individuals for a part-time Café & Bar role in Singapore. You’ll take and serve orders, craft coffee, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Join a friendly team with flexible weekends and public holidays. Training provided; hourly rate SGD 11.00 onwards, with opportunities to develop in hospitality skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in F&B is preferred but not required
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee and beverage offerings, including espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and other menu items
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service
• Provide accurate menu recommendations and assist customers with their choices
• Take and process customer orders accurately using the POS system
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and serving of orders
• Set, clear, and maintain tables to ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café and service areas
• Support the Shift Manager with special events and daily operations when required
• Communicate customer feedback and concerns promptly to the Shift Manager
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Support fellow team members to ensure smooth service operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
