Anradus Pte. Ltd. is seeking a CAD Draftsman to join our Seletar Aerospace operations in Singapore.
The role focuses on creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical parts and assemblies, translating concepts into detailed CAD drawings with dimensioning, tolerances, and material specifications. You will perform virtual assembly checks, prepare BOMs, and select materials while ensuring proper fit and function.

Design, Drafting, Assembly and Part Modelling:
Create 2D and 3D models for mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements
Convert concepts or sketches into detailed CAD drawings with high accuracy
Prepare manufacturing drawings with dimensions, material details, and tolerances
Design parts and assemblies to ensure proper fitting and function
Perform virtual assembly checks to identify design issues or conflicts
Create exploded views and simple animations for assembly reference
Material and Component Selection, Bill of Materials (BOM) Creation:
Assist in selecting suitable materials based on project needs
Apply material properties such as strength, weight, and flexibility in designs
Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) with required parts and specifications
Minimum ITE or Diploma in CAD Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Proficient in SolidWorks for 2D drafting and 3D modelling
Experience in part design, assembly, and detailed drawing preparation
Knowledge of tolerances, fits, and basic engineering principles
Familiarity with sheet metal or weldment design is an advantage
Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and able to work with cross-functional teams
