Job summary

F&L BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a CAD Drafter to study tender and construction drawings, and draft layout plans and construction drawings with dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials.

You will maintain drawing files, update revisions, and support project milestones. You will assist in progress claims, tender and contract documents, and collaborate with designers to produce quality 2D/3D drawings using CAD and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• Familiar with civil or waterproofing projects is a plus.
• Able to work in a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Study tender/ drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Draft layout plans and construction drawings with dimensions, codes, methods and materials.
• Maintain and update drawing files; implement revisions as directed by supervisors.
• Assist in progress claims and final account quantity checks.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, project drawings, and as-built drawings to standards.
• Provide cost analysis and monitor cost variations.
• Collaborate with designers to provide layout plans and detailed drawings.
• Spot discrepancies between site and drawings and flag to team.
• Prepare drawing schedules and maintain revision numbers.
• Demonstrate good time management and planning; work independently or in a team.

Job description

To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements

Responsible to collect all drawings, data, and taking notes involved in a tender or project, draft layout plans, draft construction drawings (specifying dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials) as well as site survey at the beginning stage.

Required to maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Heads / Leads

Assist in preparation of progress claim, final account quantity check and submission, etc

Preparing tender and contract documents, project drawings, as-built drawings to relevant drawing standards

Carry out cost analysis, monitoring cost variations and report

Collaborate with designer and provide construction layout plans and construction detailed drawings.

Able to produce quality 2D/ 3D drawings from scratch using CAD/ Sketch up software.

Must have the ability to spot any discrepancy between the actual site and drawings provided and highlight this to the team.

Prepare drawing schedule and update on revision drawing number promptly.
