Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a production associate to apply and attach labels to products, check label accuracy, and manage materials in a manufacturing setting. The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing/production experience
• Nitec/Higher Nitec or equivalent technical qualification
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling
• Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) safely
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Apply and attach labels to products accurately according to work instructions
• Check labels for correct information, placement and condition
• Handle, move and arrange products and materials for production activities
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned
• Work on shifts as required

About the role

This is a production role involving the application and attachment of labels to products, quality checking, and handling of materials in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and attach labels to products accurately according to work instructions
• Check labels to ensure correct information, placement and condition
• Handle, move and arrange products and materials as required for production activities
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned
• Work on shifts as required

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or a related environment
• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, vocational or equivalent technical qualification
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity for accurate label application
• Able to perform work involving prolonged standing and manual handling/lifting of products or materials
• Able to handle and move items of up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg) in accordance with workplace safety requirements
• Basic computer skills
