Job summary

The GMP Group in Singapore is seeking a warehouse operations assistant to support material preparation, receiving, shipping, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation across day and night shifts.

You will maintain equipment, uphold 5S standards, and work with hand scanners, RF scanners and PDA in a quality-driven, fast-paced environment. This role offers good growth and benefits in Tampines.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related working experience.
• Able to work within a quality system environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• English as working language is a must.
• Able to operate hand scanners and RF scanners / PDA.
• Health & Safety practices awareness.

Responsibilities

• Material preparation, receiving, shipping, cycle counting and inventory discrepancy reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Perform all necessary tasks to support warehouse operations.
• Properly maintain and take care of company-provided equipment.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep work area clean and organized.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management.

• Material preparation, receiving, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory discrepancy reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
• Perform all necessary tasks to support warehouse operations
• Properly maintain and take care of company-provided equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the management team

About you

• 1-2 years of related working experience

• Ability to work within a quality system environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment
• Able to operate hand scanners
• Able to use RF scanners / Personal Digital Assistants (PDA)
