Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a C&S Resident Engineer for our client in Changi to supervise construction, ensure quality and safety, and deliver projects on time. You will review drawings, monitor site progress, coordinate with contractors, and ensure works comply with approved plans, statutory requirements and industry standards.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, are registered as Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES, and have 3–10 years' site supervision experience;

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by PEB Singapore.
• Registered as a Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES.
• 3–10 years of site supervision experience in construction projects.
• Aviation/airport expertise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications, highlighting discrepancies and potential issues before and during construction.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and approved methodologies.
• Ensure contractors comply with Building Control Act, codes, and authorities such as BCA, LTA, NEA, NParks, PUB, and SCDF.
• Monitor site progress, contractor schedules, and day-to-day site activities.

Requirements
