Job summary

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a C&S Resident Engineer for a client project based in Changi. You will supervise construction works, review drawings, and ensure works follow approved plans, standards and safety requirements.

The role requires a Civil/Structural engineering degree, registration as Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES, and 3–10 years of site supervision experience. Airport or aviation exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registration as Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES is required.
• 3–10 years of site supervision experience on construction projects.
• Airport, aerospace, or aviation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Join our SMM site supervisory team as a C&S Resident Engineer for our client based in Changi, and play a key role in supervising construction works, ensuring quality, compliance, and successful project delivery.

You will review project drawings and specifications, monitor site progress, coordinate with contractors, and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, statutory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications, highlighting discrepancies and potential issues before and during construction.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and approved methodologies.
• Ensure contractors comply with the Building Control Act, Codes of Practice, and requirements of authorities such as BCA, LTA, NEA, NParks, PUB, and SCDF.
• Monitor site progress, contractor schedules, and day-to-day site activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification recognized by PEB Singapore.
• Registered as a Resident Engineer with BCA/IES/ACES.
• 3 to 10 years of relevant site supervision experience in construction projects.
• Ideally with Airport, Aerospace, Aviation expertise is preferred
