Job summary

Base Camp Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced C++ Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to steer design, development and delivery of customised middleware solutions. You will translate requirements into reliable software, oversee day-to-day development, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.

You will also provide technical guidance to junior engineers, uphold coding standards, and ensure high quality, performance, and robust interfaces across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on C++.
• Experience in middleware development, software integration, or system integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 or later) and Linux-based development.
• Familiarity with Git and software configuration management.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior developers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of C++ middleware and software interfaces.
• Oversee development activities including planning, prioritisation, coordination, and timelines.
• Translate system requirements into software specifications and development plans.
• Design software architecture, data models, protocols, and system interfaces.
• Develop C++ components for system communication, data conversion, and message processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
