Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited is seeking an SME to support the operation, maintenance and optimization of C&I assets at a CCGT power plant in Singapore.

You will ensure high reliability, availability and performance of instrumentation and control systems while complying with safety, environmental and regulatory standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in Power Generation, preferably in CCGT.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and NEC standards.
• Experience with Siemens T3000 (T3000) and GE 9HA.01/Mark Vie control systems is essential.
• Experience with steam turbine controls and BoP systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, loop tuning, and control logic development.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and optimization of C&I assets within the plant.
• Review and implement maintenance strategy based on CBM, PM, and PdM.
• Manage the lifecycle of C&I assets from acquisition to decommissioning.
• Develop strategies for performance optimisation and timely upgrades.
• Design, review, and maintain control systems including turbine generators and auxiliaries.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analyses of C&I faults.
• Support outages with scope, contractor coordination, and testing.
• Develop outage QC checklists and hold points for critical outage stages.
• Monitor C&I performance data to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
