C/C++ Software Engineer – Video Management & Microservices

Job summary

NCS Singapore is seeking passionate C/C++ Software Engineers to join our Video Management System team to design, implement, and maintain microservices for large-scale ingestion, storage, and presentation of media from diverse sources.

You will develop device integration services in C/C++, perform performance tests, and deliver scalable solutions using Kubernetes and Docker, collaborating with teammates across VITG and other groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 year of software industry experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, its development environments and popular libraries.
• Familiar with Linux environment.
• Familiar with deployment and version control tools such as git, CMake, and Docker.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Use C/C++ to implement, optimize and integrate device integration services.
• Perform performance tests and benchmarks.
• Deliver scalable solutions using Kubernetes and Docker technologies
• Debug and assist in maintenance of the Video Management System services
• Collaborate closely with team members, and with colleagues from other VITG teams
• Propose designs and changes to meet new requirements or solve new problems
