Business Transformation & Analytics Intern (Market Research - Hybrid Work Arrangement)

Job Scope

This is an internship role focused on supporting business transformation within a market research agency.

We are seeking a final-year intern with a background in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline with a strong analytics or technical component.

The intern will assist in focused transformation projects, such as AI-assisted charting, workflow automation, coding support, or data processing improvements, with the aim of improving how research work is delivered internally.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, exploring AI-enabled tools, and applying technical skills to real business needs. By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to contribute to tangible outputs such as working prototypes, scripts, automation workflows, documentation, or improved internal processes.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Business Transformation & Process Improvement

• Support internal transformation projects aimed at improving productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation or process improvement.
• Help develop tools, templates or scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Assist in documenting new workflows, processes and user guides for internal adoption. Work with internal teams to understand pain points and translate them into practical solutions.

Data Analytics, Automation & AI Support

• Assist in coding, testing and refining tools that improve data processing, charting or report generation.
• Explore ways to use AI, analytics tools or automation to improve internal research workflows.
• Use survey data, tabulations, charts and other research outputs as inputs to develop, test and refine tools that support research workflows.
• Conduct testing and quality checks to ensure outputs are accurate, consistent and usable.

Job Requirements and Expectations

• Final-year student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline with a strong analytics or technical component.

  Experience with coding, automation, analytics, or data visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, VBA, JavaScript, Power BI or Tableau will be advantageous.

• Interest in AI tools, workflow automation, and applied business transformation.
• Strong attention to detail and able to test outputs carefully.
• Able to translate and explain technical ideas in a simple, practical way for business users.
• Able to work independently in a project-based role, while collaborating with internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
