Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a Business System Analyst (Technical) to bridge business requirements with technical solutions through system design, requirement analysis, and functional validation.

You will lead requirement gathering, translate business needs into functional specs, perform functional analysis, and prepare comprehensive documentation and test plans. Healthcare domain experience is a plus, with potential cross-functional collaboration across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems.
• Strong business analysis skills with ability to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Solid understanding of MS Windows environments and enterprise application support.
• Proficiency in SQL/Oracle databases.
• Experience in project management and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing application support across the full SDLC: requirements, design, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specs, workflows, designs.
• Perform functional analysis ensuring alignment with objectives and feasibility.
• Prepare documentation of requirements, processes, and designs.
• Define and execute test strategies including UAT and defect resolution.
• Plan and deliver end-user training for implementations or enhancements.
• Advise on IT processes, workflows, and organizational impacts.
• Support project management activities and tracking against scope, timeline, budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources for project execution.
• Provide 24/7 application support where required.
• Contribute to RFPs, vendor assessments, and solution evaluations.

As a Business System Analyst (Technical), you will serve as a techno-functional analyst, bridging business requirements with technical solutions through system design, requirement analysis, and functional validation.

What will you do?

• Provide ongoing application support and participate across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and solution designs.
• Perform functional analysis and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, processes, and technical feasibility.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation of requirements, processes, and system designs.
• Define and execute test strategies, develop test cases, conduct functional and user acceptance testing, and follow through on defect resolution.
• Plan and deliver end-user training for new implementations or system enhancements.
• Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, advising on IT processes, workflows, and organizational impacts.
• Support project management activities, including requirement definition, progress tracking, and ensuring delivery against scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and ensure alignment for project execution.
• Provide 24/7 application support where required.
• Contribute to RFP preparation, vendor assessments, and solution evaluations in collaboration.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3–5 years of experience in experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems
• Strong business analysis skills with proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
• Solid understanding of MS Windows environments and enterprise application support.
• Proficiency in SQL/Oracle database.
• Demonstrated success in project management, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
