Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Business Solution Design Manager in the Business Transformation Services team. You will lead and implement business, digital, data and AI solutions across Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America, driving strategic decisions and expanding our range of investment products for Asia.

You will build target operating models, partner with business and project teams, and lead high-performing teams to achieve agile, inclusive collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of experience transforming the business in an asset management setting.
• Working knowledge of investment operations including accounting, compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of investment products and strategic business initiatives from design through implementation.
• Ensure alignment with business, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and develop team members and oversee performance and development of associates.

As a Manager in the Business Transformation Services team, you work closely with Asia-Pacific, as well as Europe and North America business partners to demonstrate full knowledge of solution design, business analysis and digital transformation tools and methodologies and are an experienced lead and contributor. You will lead, recommend and implement business, digital, data and AI solutions to drive strategic decisions, address complex challenges and grow the business, including the expansion of our range of investment products for Asia. You will build and leverage in-depth functional domain and technical design expertise to partner with the business and project team to design and implement strategic direction, considering people, process, technology and data dimensions. Primarily focused on efforts that span multiple capabilities and functions, and of significant scope and complexity, with multiple stakeholders. You set the tone in the department by consistently modelling and supporting Capital Group’s core values and pursuing departmental strategic objectives. You manage, coach and/or oversee the performance and development of other associates.

• You have about 7 years or more experience with changing and transforming the business in an asset management setting and understand the complexities.

• You demonstrate working knowledge of investment operations, including accounting, compliance, and reporting and have the ability to apply it to work assignments.

• Identify root causes, generate creative solutions incorporating people, process, technology, data and AI and make sound decisions that optimize value, mitigate risk, understand dependencies and impact, and anticipate future state needs.

• You lead the delivery of new investment products and strategic business initiatives from design through implementation, ensuring alignment with business, operational, and regulatory requirements.

• You leverage strong solution design expertise to assess complex challenges, define target operating models, and develop scalable solutions across investment operations, technology, and product teams.

• You build and leverage strong relationships to drive outcomes, fostering collaboration, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring agile, inclusive teams that adapt and resolve conflict effectively.

• You lead and develop high-performing teams, driving accountability, talent growth, and recruitment while mentoring others and advancing best practices.

• You are curious about new technologies and AI and can demonstrate how they can be leveraged to optimise the business.

• You lead and drive continuous improvement and agility across the organisation to achieve straight through processing, improve efficiency and effectiveness, staying resilient and effective in change.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
