Job summary

Sembcorp invites you to join our data analytics team to enable faster, data-driven decisions across stakeholder groups. You will design automated data pipelines, build dashboards, and translate complex questions into practical insights.

A degree in a quantitative field and hands-on experience with Power BI, VBA, Python, SQL and data governance are valued. You will collaborate across customer, web, CRM and billing systems to improve forecasting, campaigns and performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative, business, technology or engineering-related discipline.
• Experience in commercial analytics and reporting, revenue operations, marketing analytics or related role.
• Strong analytical foundation and experience with customer journeys, conversion funnels, retention and KPIs.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business questions and communicate clear, decision-oriented answers to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience automating recurring reporting or operational workflows and improving controls and documentation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Enable faster and more confident business decisions by working with various stakeholders to propose, build and maintain automated data collection pipelines and provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant dashboards.
• Reduce manual reporting effort by automating recurring reports, data preparation and insight workflows.
• Turn business questions into structured analyses and provide business recommendations that improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention and campaign performance.
• Develop practical alerts and decision-support tools that surface material changes.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and planning discipline for customer-base movement
• Achieve synergy by connecting and reconcile data across relevant customer, web, CRM, billing and operational sources, working with Digital and system owners to improve data availability and reliability.
• Build trust in data quality governance by establishing data definitions, documentation, quality checks and access controls so that dashboards and automated outputs are trusted, traceable and used consistently.
• Improve productivity and decision quality by evaluating and apply fit-for-purpose analytics, automation and AI tools while ensuring appropriate data protection, governance and human review.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a quantitative, business, technology or engineering-related discipline.
• Experience in commercial analytics and reporting, revenue operations, marketing analytics or related role.
• Strong analytical foundation and practical experience working with customer journeys, conversion funnels, retention, campaign performance and commercial KPIs.
• Hands-on capability in VBA, PowerBI, Power Query, Power Automate; python or SQL is an advantage; AI use experience is an advantage
• Ability to structure ambiguous business questions, work with imperfect data and communicate a clear, decision-oriented answer to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience automating recurring reporting or operational workflows and improving the controls, documentation and maintainability around them.
• Good understanding of data quality, privacy and governance considerations when working with customer data.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively and drive follow-through without formal authority.
• A builder's mindset: curious, practical, detail-oriented and motivated by creating tools and insights that teams use to make better decisions.
