Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Ripple's business development strategy for APAC, RLUSD, and RWAs on the XRP Ledger.
• Develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, digital exchanges, PSPs, enterprises, and crypto-native companies.
• Lead deals end-to-end: sourcing, analyzing, negotiating contracts, and presenting to leadership.
• Collaborate with product, customer success, compliance, legal and finance to ensure quality partnerships and smooth deal execution.
• Be the primary liaison for partners in the APAC region.
• Represent Ripple at industry events and conferences.

THE WORK:

We are looking for a multifaceted professional to drive regional growth for Ripple Core infrastructure (include: payments, custody, XRPL infra.) This role will cross over with efforts to grow our newly launched stablecoin (RLUSD) and enable real-world asset (RWA) tokenization on the XRP Ledger to bring high quality financial assets on-chain.You will help develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, enterprises, and crypto native companies.The ideal candidate will have experience working independently on complex deals to implementation and managing strategic partners both internally and externally.As a member of a global team, the candidate must be self-directed, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and a strong collaborator who is able to work independently as part of a cross-functional team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and execute Ripple's business development strategy to grow and support our newly launched stablecoin (RLUSD) and portfolio of natively issued high quality RWAs on the XRP ledger
• Develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, digital exchanges, PSPs, enterprises, and crypto native companies
• Lead deals from end to end, including sourcing, analyzing, negotiating commercial contracts, and presenting to leadership
• Collaborate well cross-functionally with product, customer success, compliance, legal, and finance to deliver high quality partners and ensure smooth deal execution
• Be the primary liaison for our partners and prospects in the APAC region
• Represent Ripple at industry events and conferences

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and sales in Banking, Finance, Tech, Consulting, and/or Crypto
• Relevant experience in Payments, Trad-Fi and digital assets
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, tokenization, and stablecoins
• Proven success in developing first of a kind partnerships and closing complex deals
• Extensive network, with key contacts in financial services, payments, and crypto
• Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
• Collaborative approach with strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with change, a pro-active problem solver, and good decision making skills
• A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or equivalent is helpful
