Job description
About Us

Tots on Tour is an immersive learning studio that transforms complex science and world concepts into playful, imaginative adventures for young children. Through drama, movement, sensory play, and hands‑on exploration, we design meaningful learning journeys for preschools across Singapore.
As we expand in 2026, we are looking for a PASSIONATE and driven Business Development Associate to help us grow our network of preschools and strengthen our presence in the early‑childhood sector.

Role Overview

The Business Development Associate will play a key role in growing Tots on Tour’s client base, nurturing preschool partnerships, and supporting the success of our programme bookings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with educators, and working in a mission‑driven, child‑centric environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Identify and reach out to preschools, childcare centres, and kindergartens across Singapore.

  • Manage outbound communication via email, WhatsApp, phone calls, and social media.

  • Build and maintain a database of potential clients, tracking touchpoints and follow‑up needs.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Introduce Tots on Tour’s programmes to principals and teachers in a warm, professional manner.

  • Provide accurate programme information, pricing, and scheduling details.

  • Arrange and support meetings, calls, and on‑site visits or previews for educators.

  • Strengthen long‑term relationships with partner schools and support repeat bookings.

3. Sales & Booking Management
  • Support the full sales pipeline: enquiries, soft bookings, confirmations, deposits, and final numbers.

  • Prepare quotations and assist with invoices (in coordination with internal admin).

  • Track monthly and quarterly targets and provide simple sales reports.

4. Marketing & Programme Support
  • Assist with distributing digital flyers, creating outreach messages, and updating basic marketing materials.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team/influencer partners where necessary.

  • Support programme days when needed (greeting teachers, managing attendance, ensuring smooth flow).

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree preferred (Early Childhood, Education, Business, Marketing, or related fields).

  • Experience in sales, business development, or client relations is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome if confident and communicative.

  • Comfortable presenting to principals/teachers and speaking confidently about programme value.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive with follow‑ups.

  • Enjoys working in an education environment.

  • Ability to work independently in a small, fast‑growing team.

What We Offer
  • A meaningful role in shaping quality learning experiences for young children.

  • Supportive, warm, fun and collaborative work environment.

  • Opportunities to grow in business development, partnerships, education sales, and marketing.

  • Competitive remuneration + performance incentives.

  • Exposure to a unique, creative, and fast‑growing education startup in Singapore.

Work Location & Hours
  • Final location will be shared during interview.

  • Standard office hours (Mon–Fri), with occasional programme‑day support depending on bookings.
