Job summary

FP Global, a well-established independent provider of fund and corporate services, is expanding its Singapore business and seeking a Business Development Associate to join its commercial team. You will own a broad remit from day one, with direct reporting to the Commercial Director, and real visibility from the start.

Key duties include onboarding, KYC/AML due diligence, drafting commercial documents, and supporting BD meetings end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 2 years of audit experience in global consulting firms, ideally covering funds or financial services.
• Background in corporate secretarial, client onboarding, or KYC/AML is acceptable.

Job description

A well-established, globally networked independent provider of fund and corporate services is growing its Singapore business and looking for a Business Development Associate to join its commercial team. This is a chance to grow into a broad remit rather than inherit a narrow one. You would sit in a lean, close-knit team and report directly to the Commercial Director, with real ownership and visibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead new-client onboarding: run KYC/AML client due diligence alongside the compliance team and shepherd new relationships from first conversation to live client.
• Draft the commercial paperwork that wins and sets up business — proposals, RFP responses, fee proposals and service agreements.
• Support business development meetings end to end: prepare materials, take detailed notes, and keep the CRM and follow-up actions current so nothing slips.
• Qualify inbound and sourced leads, represent the firm at industry events, and partner with marketing to organise thought-leadership and client events.
• Spot upselling opportunities across existing clients and act as first point of contact for a small client portfolio.

You will own the admin end as much as the client-facing end, and hand off smoothly to the corporate secretarial and accounting teams once a client is through the door. For someone who earns it, there is a clear path to grow into a fully client-facing BD role over time.

What Makes You a Fit

• Around 2 years of audit experience in global consulting firms, ideally covering funds or financial services, with strong financial statement analysis skills and an understanding of private equity, venture capital, or hedge fund structures.
• OR a background in corporate secretarial, client onboarding, or KYC/AML, with experience supporting corporate and fund structures.
