Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking a Senior Data Architect to drive the Data by Design strategy within the Corporate & Investment Banking Coverage domain in Singapore. You will define data architecture, governance, and data quality frameworks to boost business efficiency and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with technology and regulatory teams, build domain-level data models, establish DQ controls, and lead governance forums to ensure consistent data definitions and secure data usage

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Data Modeling within Banking & Financial Services (CIB Coverage preferred).
• Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data governance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, regulatory compliance (BCBS 239, GDPR, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Reference Data Management and implementation of data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of CIB Coverage data architecture, data lineage, and current gaps.
• Establish a unified view of Coverage data by developing/enhancing conceptual and domain-level data models.
• Implement Data Quality (DQ) change control frameworks to align critical data changes with defined models and standards.
• Provide data modeling expertise to support key business transformations and drive end-to-end data design activities.
• Define frameworks for Data Security, Privacy, Records Management, and Data Sovereignty by mapping and classifying business data.
• Establish clear data definitions and standards to improve data quality and resolve inconsistencies.
• Implement Reference Data Architecture Principles and ensure optimal reference data usage across projects.
• Engage with Technology Architects and Engineering teams to support physical data architecture and domain ownership activities.
• Design and operate governance forums to oversee data models, standards, and principles.
• Provide Data Architecture consultation for large-scale business and regulatory change initiatives.

About the Role:
