Job summary

CIMB Group in Singapore seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and governance of the group’s IT architecture. You will translate business strategy into scalable technology solutions, oversee data and integration patterns, and drive standards across regional teams.

The role requires deep experience in banking tech, SOA, and large-scale programs, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and regulatory compliance emphasis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of IT enterprise architecture experience in banking/financial services
• Ability to design scalable architecture within budget and user requirements
• Knowledge of ITIL, SDLC, and regulatory expectations in banking
• Experience with data transformation, metadata, and big data stores
• Familiarity with SOA, messaging, and integration technologies

Responsibilities

• Maintain Singapore IT Blueprint and governance for IT architecture
• Develop and govern architecture frameworks, inventories, standards
• Translate business strategy into architecture requirements across application, data, and tech layers
• Design reusable architecture patterns and standardize across group and country
• Provide technical risk assessments for changes in highly integrated environments
• Contribute to feedback on enterprise architecture standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on architecture options
