Job summary

LIN MACHINERY & TRANSPORT PTE. LTD. seeks an Associate Business Manager to support senior leadership by supervising daily workshop operations and coordinating across sites.

You will help align departments, oversee repair and rebuild projects, and ensure processes comply with safety policies. The role requires 2–5 years in workshop operations, purchasing and administration, with strong analytical and Excel skills and clear communication to mitigate operational risks in heavy vehicle workshops

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Management, Engineering or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in workshop operations, purchasing and job delegation administration.
• Strong analytical and Excel/data skills; clear communication and attention to detail to minimise risk.

Responsibilities

• Operation Roles: Coordinate workflows, assist with department alignment and assist in executing repair and rebuild projects.
• Purchasing Functions: Be well versed in electrical and mechanical parts of trucks and heavy equipment.
• Administrative Roles: Prepare financial reports, track KPIs, build job order workflows and analyze market trends.
• Management Roles: Act as two-way communication between front office, senior management and support/control functions.
• Risk Compliance/Assessment Roles: Ensure policies, SOPs, and safety processes are followed in the heavy vehicle workshop and sites.

• Purchasing Functions: The candidate must be well verse in electrical and mechanical part of trucks and heavy equipments.
• Administrative Roles: Prepare financial report, track key performance index, build job order work flow and analyze market trends.
• Management Roles: Act as a two ways communication between front office, senior management and support/control functions.
• Risk Compliance/Assessment Roles: Ensure company policies, SOP, local regulatory safety processes are followed in the heavy vehicle workshop and working at sites

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bacheor's degree/Diploma in Business, Management, Engineering or related fields
• Experience: Requires 2-5 years of experience in workshop operations, purchasing and Job deligation administration.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical and Excel/data skills, vehicle repair and servicing Job management capabilities, Clear communication and attention to details to minimise risk that are associate with operating in heavy vehicle workshop or at work sites.

Working Hours/Locations

• The workshop location is at 20 Sungei Kadut (729463)
• 8.00AM-6.00PM daily (6 days work week)
• Will require to support the mechanical and engineering team in multiple locations.
