GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst (West, Permanent) to facilitate discussions with internal teams and stakeholders, documenting detailed business and technical requirements for projects.

You will prepare comprehensive documentation, identify potential challenges early, and collaborate with PMs, architects, developers, QA, and deployment teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in government, automation, or security technology environments.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Analytical and structured approach to issue resolution.
• Ability to scope and prioritize requirements and assess feasibility.
• Experience with border control systems, biometrics, automation, or public IT projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate discussions with internal teams, customers, partners, and vendors to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements for projects.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and interface specifications.
• Identify potential design or solution challenges early in the project lifecycle and highlight possible business or operational impacts.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, QA, and deployment teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions meet customer expectations by supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and requirement traceability.
• Investigate issues encountered during testing and production releases, recommending practical solutions and workarounds.
• Evaluate system performance, stability, and scalability, and propose improvements to enhance overall solution quality.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Support stakeholder communication, change management initiatives, and post-deployment activities when required.
