Job summary

infrasoft technologies pte ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Business Analyst with 8+ years in Banking/Wealth Management to join our team. The role covers financial accounting, liquidity management, credit risk, regulatory reporting, and core banking processes.

You will lead requirements workshops, document business and system needs, and collaborate with regional teams through the full IT project lifecycle, including testing and stakeholder management in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years as a business analyst in Banking/Wealth Management.
• Hands-on experience in Financial Accounting, Liquidity Management and Credit Risk.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting (Basel IV, SACCR preferred).
• Understanding of Core Banking, Loan/Deposit lifecycle and data quality.
• Experience conducting requirements workshops and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops with business teams and challenge requirements.
• Document business needs and system specifications for IT projects.
• Collaborate with cross-regional teams across the bank and IT stakeholders.
• Support testing, user acceptance and finance data reconciliation activities.

Job description

Functional

• Should have worked as Business analyst at least for 8+ years.
• Hands on experience in the following areas are anticipated(or a mix) in implementations :
• Financial Accounting (Knowledge on Transaction movements, Accruals, Reversals for Trading and Banking book)
• Liquidity Management
• Credit-risk (Collateral Management, Counterparty Risk)
• Regulatory Reporting (Knowledge on Basel IV, SACCR preferred)
• Core banking (Knowledge on Loan/Deposit lifecycle)
• Data quality, Finance closing and recon process.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role in Banking Wealth Management industry.
• Good working knowledge on WM investment product life cycle .
• Should have good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in a financial services/bank.
• Should have knowledge on Accounting/Finance system implementation lifecycle.
• Experience working throughout the entire IT project life cycle; including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management throughout.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
• Able to conduct workshops with business teams and challenging the requirements
• Collaborate with teams and work with groups effectively spread across various regions
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple teams and other stakeholders to maintain harmony
• Background from Business analyst and transitioned to PM would be value added.
