Job summary

Synapxe is seeking a data and analytics leader on a 2-year direct contract to partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise and implement analytics use cases while driving platform adoption.

You will serve as the business lead for the enterprise data and analytics platform, translate objectives into analytics projects, conduct POCs, and establish AI governance policies to maximise value and ensure governance compliance across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, CS, Analytics or Engineering.
• Experience in data-driven initiatives and analytics projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex topics for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics use case identification, prioritisation and delivery with business stakeholders.
• Drive enterprise data and analytics platform adoption and maximize business value.

Position Overview

The is a 2 years direct contract position - partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise and implement analytics use cases while driving platform adoption.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of Synapxe AI Strategy's impact area on Strengthened Capability and Strategic Leadership through the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance capabilities and leadership.
• Serve as the business lead for the enterprise data and analytics platform, driving adoption and maximising business value. Partner with business stakeholders in identifying the right use cases, translating business objectives into analytics projects, and support prioritization based on feasibility and value.
• Conduct POCs to validate the business value and capabilities, help identify and explore new data sources and analytical methods.
• Manage operationalisation with system integration and work with stakeholders to ensure service or product is adopted by staff or embedded into business processes.
• Establish and implement corporate AI and data governance policies and processes.
• Operationalise Synapxe AI Governance Framework to ensure AI products/solutions comply with the governance requirements, and integration of AI governance principles throughout the AI product/solution lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics or Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant working experience in data-driven initiatives involving data & analytics solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Project management skills.
• Analytical and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear and concise presentations or other means to a variety of key stakeholders of different levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player.
• Good knowledge of concepts, methods and techniques used in data governance, data management, data structures, data architecture, analytics and AI.
