Job summary

Luxoft in Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive Public Markets data, reporting and analytics initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across front office, middle office, operations and technology to deliver end-to-end data projects from inception through BAU transition.

Candidates should have strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with practical understanding of Public/Private Markets and investment data concepts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6–8 years of experience in project management or business/data analyst roles delivering investment/data projects.
• Strong end-to-end project delivery experience including planning, dependency and risk management, UAT and BAU transition.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across front/m front/middle office, operations, technology and data teams.
• Working knowledge of investment data concepts and ability to validate data and reporting outputs.
• Proficient in SQL to investigate data issues and support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate data, reporting and analytics projects from initiation to delivery.

• Maintain project plans, timelines and delivery trackers while identifying risks and driving resolutions.

This role sits within a small team (~5) supporting Public Markets activities within a Singapore sovereign fund.The role is responsible for driving and coordinating delivery of Public Markets data, reporting and analytics initiatives, working closely with front office, middle office, investment operations and technology/data teams.The successful candidate will combine strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities with practical understanding of Public/Private Markets and investment data. The role requires the ability to take initiatives from problem definition and requirements through planning, execution, testing, implementation and BAU transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Public/Private Markets data, reporting and analytics projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring clear scope, milestones, dependencies, deliverables and ownership.
• Work with front and middle-office stakeholders to understand business problems, define project objectives and translate investment requirements into actionable project deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, logs, dependencies and delivery tracking, proactively identifying risks and driving resolution.
• Coordinate across business, data, technology and operations teams to ensure requirements, data dependencies, development, testing and implementation activities remain aligned.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritisation and scope management, ensuring project outcomes remain aligned with business priorities and agreed objectives.
• Drive UAT, issue resolution and implementation readiness, coordinating business validation and ensuring identified defects or data issues are appropriately tracked through to closure.
• Provide regular project status reporting and stakeholder updates, highlighting progress, key decisions, risks, issues, dependencies and areas requiring escalation.
• Apply Public/Private Markets domain knowledge to challenge requirements, identify gaps and validate whether proposed solutions and data outputs are consistent with investment and operational processes.
• Support BAU transition and post-implementation stabilisation, ensuring delivered solutions have appropriate documentation, controls, ownership and support processes.
• Where required, remain hands‑on in data analysis and SQL‑based investigation to support project delivery, troubleshoot issues and validate investment data and reporting outcomes.

SKILLS

Must have

• 6–8 years (indicative) of relevant experience in:
• Project management / delivery roles within asset management, investment management, banking or financial services OR business/data analyst roles with significant responsibility for delivering investment, portfolio or data‑related projects.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project delivery, including project planning, stakeholder management, requirements, dependencies, risk/issues management, UAT, implementation and BAU transition.
• Strong business analysis, project management and stakeholder management capabilities with practical understanding of Public Markets and investment data
• Understanding of investment data concepts such as positions, transactions, P&L, exposures and portfolio data, sufficient to effectively manage projects involving investment data and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across front office, middle office, operations, technology and data teams and drive alignment across different stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, including the ability to understand data issues, assess root causes and drive issues to resolution.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast‑moving environments, taking ownership of deliverables and driving progress with limited guidance.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present project status, articulate risks and dependencies, facilitate decisions and communicate complex investment/data topics to different audiences.
• Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to independently investigate data issues, validate requirements and support project delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering Public Markets portfolio monitoring, investment reporting, data platform or analytics projects.
• Experience working with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Experience with Snowflake or other data platforms / analytical data layers.
• Experience managing projects using JIRA, Confluence or similar project delivery tools.
• Experience with data migration, data quality, reconciliation, UAT and implementation activities.
• Experience working in Agile / iterative delivery environments.
