Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract with renewal potential up to 36 months. You will gather, analyse, and document business needs, and work with product, project teams, engineers and vendors to clarify requirements.

If you have at least 4 years of experience, strong data synthesis, and excellent written and verbal communication, you will thrive in our team and support deployments, testing, and transitions to business-as-usual

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business needs, current- and future-state processes, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops with business users, product and project teams, engineers and vendors.
• Maintain requirements traceability, process flows and backlog refinement.
• Prepare test scenarios and coordinate testing including defects and retesting.
• Support deployment, change communication, and transition to BAU operations.
• Undertake handover and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.

What the officer will be working on:

• Gather, analyse and document business needs, current- and future-state processes, user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business users, product and project teams, engineers and vendors to clarify requirements and support solution design.
• Maintain requirements traceability, process flows and supporting documentation, and assist with backlog refinement and sprint activities.
• Prepare test scenarios and coordinate system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing, including defect tracking and retesting.
• Support deployment, change communication, operational readiness, production issue analysis and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Undertake handover and job-shadowing to acquire the relevant system, process and stakeholder knowledge.

What are we looking for?

• At least 4 years of experience.
• Proven record of collecting and synthesizing data to derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
• End to end experience working with product team to build products.
• Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• Computer science, product management related degrees or diplomas are a plus
• Personnel must be available for planned deployments and Severity incident support outside office hours, as necessary
