Job summary

Temus is a Temasek-backed consulting firm delivering digital transformation for both the private and public sectors in Singapore. As a Business Analyst, you will work with clients to understand business challenges, elicit requirements, and identify effective solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

You will contribute to governance, document requirements, and support testing and go-live activities, while continually improving processes.

Qualifications

• Gather and document business requirements clearly for IT projects.
• Plan and coordinate testing cycles including SIT/UAT.
• Document governance deliverables and track risks and issues.
• Support Go-Live activities and user training.
• Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Evaluate and propose solution options based on business needs.
• Understand and articulate business problems and use cases clearly.

Responsibilities

• Adopt structured approaches to analyse business processes and solve problems.
• Assist BA leads in planning the business analysis approach and tools.
• Prepare governance artifacts to track status, risks, changes and issues.
• Contribute to stakeholder communication plans.
• Experience in requirement lifecycle across multiple interfaces and testing.

• Evaluate existing systems to support proposed changes.

The Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, elicit user requirements, and identify effective solutions. You will partner with key stakeholders to clarify and document business requirements, assess the viability and effectiveness of potential solution options, and facilitate effective communication between business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Adopt a structured and systematic approach to analysing business processes and solving problems.
• Assist the BA leads in the planning of business analysis approach by defining the methods, techniques and tools to be used for business analysis.
• Prepare governance deliverables to track status, risks, changes and issues pertaining to day-to-day management of all functional areas of system/data product analysis.
• Contribute to the preparation of the stakeholder communication plan.
• Experience in requirement lifecycle, working with multiple interfaces to other systems and carry out testing and transitioning multiple interfaces to Implementation.
• Contribute to the formulation of solution recommendation.
• Evaluate the ability of an existing system/data products to support proposed changes.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 - 6 years’ experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems.
• Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Configuration & Development, SIT, UAT, Training, Go-Live Support and Application support to users.
• Excellent analytical skills, able to understand and articulate business problem statement and use cases concisely.
• Self-motivated and able to take direction and work resourcefully and independently.
• Have good communication and writing skills.
• Be able and willing to understand new technologies quickly.
