Ampol is transforming its CTRM platform and seeks a Technology Business Analyst in Singapore to drive technical analysis, integration design, and system configuration. You will collaborate with the Delivery Lead, Functional Leads, and Change Lead to enable business outcomes across front, middle, and back office squads.

The role emphasizes translating operational context into artefacts, supporting data mapping, and ensuring alignment with governance and architecture standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a technical field; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in large technology programs.
• Strong experience supporting CTRM, ETRM, ERP, or similar systems.
• Ability to translate operational context into detailed system configuration requirements, interface specs, and artefacts.

About the Role

Ampol is undertaking a majortransformation program to implement a new Commodity Trading and Risk Management(CTRM) platform-modernising how we manage trades, risk, logistics, and financeacross our global energy business.

As a Technology Business Analyst, you will support theplanning and execution of technical analysis, integration design, and systemconfiguration activities within the CTRM program. Working closely with theTechnology Delivery Lead, Functional BAs, and Program Manager, you will helpensure the technology solution enables the desired business outcomes across theprogram's functional squads:

• Front Office & Risk - tradecapture, pricing, P&L, and risk analytics
• Logistics, Back Office & Finance -physical operations, settlements, and accounting integration
• Change Management & InterimProcess - process transition and interim controls

You will apply a structured, analytical approach totranslate functional inputs into clear technical artefacts, support integrationmapping, and contribute to ensuring system design and data flows align withAmpol's enterprise architecture and data governance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery Support & Execution

• Support the delivery of the CTRMsolution across Technology Delivery Domains (TDD), with a strong focus onunderstanding and contributing to back-end system configuration and scriptingactivities.
• Collaborate with the TechnologyDelivery Lead and Functional Delivery Lead to translate operational businesscontext into system configuration requirements and implementation plans.
• Assist in documenting technicalspecifications, configuration details, and integration needs based onfunctional and operational inputs.
• Work with vendors and internal ITteams to validate solution design, integrations, and interfaces across systems.
• Maintain traceability betweenoperational needs, system configuration, and testing outcomes.
• Support the coordination of technicalchange requests, ensuring they align with program scope and timelines.

Technical Configuration & Integration Support

• Develop a deep understanding of CTRMsystem configuration and scripting logic to support technical delivery andtroubleshooting post go-live.
• Assist in documenting integrationpoints between CTRM and surrounding systems (e.g., ERP/SAP, risk analytics,data warehouse, market data feeds).
• Contribute to defining data mapping,transformation, and validation rules to ensure consistency and accuracy acrosssystems.
• Support analysis of systemdependencies and data flows across trading and financial systems.
• Ensure documentation and configurationactivities align with Ampol's technology architecture, cybersecurity, andcompliance standards.

Testing & Cutover Support

• Assist in developing and executing SITand UAT test cases, with a focus on validating configuration and integrationlogic.
• Support defect tracking, resolutioncoordination, and regression testing activities.
• Contribute to data migration andcutover planning efforts to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
• Participate in system readinessvalidation and post-implementation support activities.

Governance & Collaboration

• Ensure technical artefacts andconfiguration documentation are maintained to required quality standards.
• Provide input into delivery updates,risk assessments, and design decisions as needed.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager,Functional Leads, and Change Lead to support alignment on timelines,dependencies, and deliverables.
• Contribute to lessons learned andcontinuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; postgraduatequalifications preferred.
• 5 years'experience as a Business Analyst in large Technology programs.
• Strongexperience supporting CTRM, ETRM, ERP, or similar systems implementation andintegration, with a focus on back-end configuration and system setup.
• Provenability to translate operational business context into detailed systemconfiguration requirements, interface specifications, and technical artefacts.
• Solidunderstanding of trade lifecycle processes and how they map to system datamodels and integration flows across front, middle, and back office functions.
• Experiencesupporting vendor teams and coordinating with internal squads to ensuretechnical delivery aligns with configuration needs and program timelines.
• Hands-onexperience with data migration, mapping, and validation activities in thecontext of complex system transitions.
• Familiaritywith basic scripting, SQL, APIs, and integration patterns, with the ability toengage effectively with developers and solution architects to troubleshoot andrefine system behavior.
• Stronganalytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability toclearly articulate configuration logic and system dependencies.
