Job summary

SBS Transit Limited in Singapore is hiring a Local Bus Technician to identify mechanical defects, perform daily preventive maintenance, and overhaul components including air-conditioning systems.

Applicants should have Higher Nitec or Nitec in Automotive Technology (or related fields) and 1–2 years’ experience. Shift work may be required. A sign-on bonus may be available as advertised.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Automotive Technology, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and rectify mechanical defects on buses.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance to ensure reliability of buses.
• Overhaul mechanical components and service air-conditioning systems.
