Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking an Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager, Bus Operations Management (Routes) to coordinate stakeholder engagement and drive data-informed improvements for bus route operations in Singapore. The role focuses on safety, feasibility of priority measures, and ongoing reviews of routes and roadworks.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in using technology to transform bus operations.

Qualifications

• Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong interest in driving business change using technology and data.
• Preferably knowledge in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure public bus route movements are safe with feasible bus priority measures.
• Provide inputs on planned roadwork and road diversion consultations along bus routes to safeguard bus movements.
• Review bus route corridors and assess feasibility of traffic scheme enhancements for bus priority.
